Visiting Maui was a very exciting experience. The water was always clear and turquoise color and the Pacific Ocean gave a feeling of being in the middle of a vast, isolated paradise.  We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and explored the beaches and coves. I think it is great to just look out to the ocean and see different islands across the horizon and then look back to see the mountains over the mainland. The contrast is so unique and gives such a true feeling of Paradise.  Driving down the winding coastal roads with the Pacific Ocean glow along the horizon will stay with me forever.  I was amazed to see such a variety of setting just on this one island.
